Sunday Snapshot: Trearddur Bay Sunset

trearddur bay sunset

This photo captures one of the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen. Located on the cliffs of Trearddur Bay, I spent one of my evenings there sitting high above the Irish sea, mesmerized by this sunset. Do you remember a sunset that you thought was the most beautiful? Where was it?

Dreaming of London: A London Photo Gallery

I first stepped foot in this city when I was fourteen years old. It was a family trip to visit our relatives in England and I immediately fell in love. To my horror we were only there for a day and we did the tourist thing. A bus tour, walking around to see famous sites like Big Ben. I was young, invigorated and in love with a city I had barely known. Since that day I have been there a few more times and the more I visit, the harder I fall. It is still my dream to someday live in this city and to be lucky enough to call it home.

Sunday Snapshot: A Snapshot View of Amsterdam.

Amsterdam Canals

The first thing I noticed when I arrived in Amsterdam was the massive overload of garbage everywhere. An unfortunate greeting seeing as this city is generally aesthetically pleasing. The garbage men were on strike. Once I tore my eyes away from the mountains of garbage, I was fascinated. I arrived in Amsterdam knowing exactly what I wanted to do and what I wanted to see. I ended up seeing and learning much more than I was expecting. From riding bicycles from our campsite on the outskirts of the city to listening to buskers in Dam Square to admiring the many canals, Amsterdam has a certain feel to it that I would love to get back to.

Sunday Snapshot: Arc de Triomphe Paris View

Paris, France. The city of romance, love and passion. The place every city girl dreams of being proposed to or whisked away for an intense summer romance. I enjoyed Paris. I didn’t fall in love with it, I didn’t hate it, but it is a place I would love to return to for a longer period of time. This photograph is a city view taken from the Arc de Triomphe rooftop. It’s a wonder I was able to see enough to take a decent photo thanks to the wind that blew my hair across my face the entire time. I personally liked this view better than the view from the Eiffel Tower. For one, from the Arc de Triomphe you get to see the Eiffel Tower along with the beautiful city landscape.

I only had three days in Prague and let me tell you, three days is not nearly enough. However, in those three days I was able to experience some beautiful parts of this magical city. For me it had a whimsical, fairy-tale feeling to it. I would love to go back and explore more of the city.

Have you ever been to Prague? What did you think? Do you prefer written accounts of a destination, the photos behind it, or both?
